How We Began

Hi. I'm Dallas. My story with my birds began on a balcony, for the most part. As I was observing a Fall, farmer's market folks across the way in the park one Saturday morning, a sudden thought flew into my head: I wonder if I can make a bird out of a comma...

I ran into my studio, started my computer, found the perfect comma and set to work. Within an hour, 7 colorful commas and a set of quotation marks began talking to me. I decided to call them The Jolly Troop. 

Since that golden, Autumn morning, The Jolly Troop has been telling stories of places near and far, on subjects silly and sometimes somber. My hope is that we remind you to ,&! (Pause and Rejoice)
