Flying fast is his thing. Really fast. Girls annoy him. He’s happiest when he’s thinking of new flight patterns through forests, skyscrapers, or the legs of humans. No down time. All zoom.

Yvette loves Paris, croissants, the Louvre, pigeons, and thinking about her Montmartre balcony. She coos over anything romantic and thinks her life is the ultimate love saga of the century.
Stilts is the tallest member of the Jolly Troop as well as the most far-seeing. He can see so far that he sees the future! Since this takes concentration and awareness, you can almost always find him in yoga practicing pigeon pose with his eyes closed.
Magnus would rather be deciphering a forgotten language or giving a speech than taking time to bird-bathe. While history remains his favorite hobby, he is trying not to appear so cute — he says it takes away from his credibility.
Penny runs everywhere. Once she gets her eyes set on something, she doesn’t stop. She wants to be the world’s fastest bird. Currently, she is working on dodging raindrops and making curry from scratch.
These two see both sides of everything. And even though they are as different as fire and water, they always stick together. So stay on their good side, otherwise you’ll have “double trouble.”
Silas sees the world differently than most because he likes being upside down. He also claims it helps him think of new jokes. He's a total beach bum and likes raggae music, soda pop, surf boards, volleyball and lady pelicans.
Pascal met The Jolly Troop in Brooklyn, New York, but claims France as home. He's got a great nose for modern art and likes finding it, creating it and being in it. He sleeps in every morning he can and won't say a peep until he's had his morning coffee and pain au chocolat.
Roman is your typical Upper East Side fellow: he's a subway mastermind, knows where to find the best bagels and loves shopping on 5th Avenue. Nothing interferes with his Sunday ritual of reading The Times and having brunch. And if you're lucky enough to be invited, he makes it a point of always paying for his guest's meal.
Edward has a great eye for clothing and fashion and finds a great deal of pleasure scouring small, vintage clothing shops. He claims that real men really do wear pink and will dual anyone on the matter. What he may lack in height, he makes up with his gigantic personality.
Sophia is a troubadour, through and through. Consequently, she is interested in myths, legends and stories of far-away places. Nothing gives her more pleasure than sitting amidst her dear friends and talking about tall-tales and forgotten melodies. She's definitely The Jolly Troop's "song bird."
Baron grew up in the circus doing stunts and falling asleep to the sounds of ferris wheels, popcorn popping and children's laughter. He enjoys friendly competition and a well-crafted challenge. Something he hasn't let on yet to The Troop: he was inches away from going to clown school!
Alexander Xerxes (or A.X. as they call him) is a strategist to the nth degree! He is curious about wars, why they happen and and how to solve them through diplomacy. He knows everything about Napolean and is currently forming a group within The Jolly Troop called "The Mighty Tinys."
Golda wants to heal the world—like, literally. She believes in wholeness of heart and mind. She loves education and has decided to help all beings regardless of where they come from or what color they are. She's the only Trooper with glasses and still gets shy about that fact.
Billie is the baker of the bunch and has a weakness for carrot cake. The only other thing she loves more than time in the kitchen is time in the clouds—she's convinced she's going to make cotton-candy out of a cumulus clouds! As you can probably guess, she believes in the fantastic and the magical and that there really is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow.
Dred Fred would peck your eyes out if he found out you thought he was a member of The Jolly Troop! Beware! Dred Fred is abysmal and absolutely terrible. He likes to ruin everything possible and is determined to make Red Fred's life sad and scary! He's combing dark alleys and shadows to find other misfit birds that have coal-dark hearts, like him, so he can create his own league, The Spooky Troop.
